New LIA Director Announcement

January 16, 2017 Happy New Year Leadership Alumni, We are celebrating 30 years of Leadership Lafayette! During the past 30 years, over 700 community leaders have experienced the impact of our flagship program with many going on to serve on boards, commissions, and hold public office. We have built and strengthened the Lafayette Junior Leadership to serve high-school juniors across Lafayette Parish for over 25 years. We also developed our Intro Lafayette program to engage new professionals in Acadiana with the opportunity to learn about the community and connect with business and civic leaders. To say the least, we have built a spectacular portfolio of programs over the past 30 years. We are excited to enter 2017 with momentum to strengthen our existing leadership programs and build new capacity with our first-ever Director of LIA as part of a joint initiative between LIA and One Acadiana. Ashley Mudd, Leadership Lafayette Class XXIX graduate, has been selected to build upon our 30-year legacy and bring our programs to the next level. We believe the appointment of Ashley achieves a significant milestone in a multi-year strategic vision and both organizations are looking forward to further investments and growth in Acadiana leadership development! This month we will also welcome Leadership Lafayette Class XXX. We believe the high-caliber of this class is especially fitting as we commemorate our 30th year of the program. We expect this group may already be on their way to being “best class ever.” With much excitement about the changes happening during our 30th year, it is the best time to reengage and get involved with LIA. We invite you...
