Leadership Institute of Acadiana is a nonprofit organization committed to building leaders for the Acadiana Region. The organization is comprised of three programs: Leadership Lafayette, Lafayette Junior Leadership, and the Leadership Alumni Organization.

Leadership Lafayette is a 10-month program committed to building the knowledge, skills, and connections of individuals in the Lafayette region. With over 500 graduates, the program boasts among its alumni the current City-Parish President Joey Durel, sitting Congressman Charles Boustany, Jr., and many other local leaders.

Lafayette Junior Leadership is a program modeled after the Leadership Lafayette program for high school juniors. The program follows the school year calendar and introduces approximately 40 high school juniors to many aspects of their home community. The program was started by Leadership Lafayette alumnus Dr. Jay Culotta who was inspired by his own experience in Leadership Lafayette to begin a similar program for kids.

Leadership Alumni is this area's alumni organization for Leadership graduates living in the area. Open to Leadership graduates from other communities, members of the alumni organization pay annual dues of $50 per year and are invited to various social, networking, and educational opportunities throughout the year. In addition, the dues go to support scholarships for the other leadership programs offered by the Institute.
